Gerry is a Managing Director at Sagewind Capital LLC and is based in the Washington, DC region. He has over two decades of experience investing in and helping to grow companies in the government technology space. He was Vice President, Corporate Development at Anteon International for four years where he was responsible for the company’s M&A program. Upon the sale of Anteon to General Dynamics in 2006, Gerry became a founder and Senior Vice President of CoVant Management Inc., an investment firm whose initial equity was partially funded by Steve Lefkowitz. CoVant was focused exclusively on the government contracting technology sector. Prior to joining Anteon, Gerry was an investment banker for over 10 years, including as a Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York City.

Gerry currently sits on the boards of Tria Federal and Sabel Systems. He previously served on the boards of A-T Solutions, LGS Innovations, LinQuest, Aevex Aerospace and Aechelon Technology.

Outside of work, Gerry believes in giving back to the community. He currently sits on the boards of two non-profit organizations: The Neighborhood of Maryland and The Jake Cassell Fund. He previously sat on the board of Integrated Living Opportunities. All these organizations are focused on providing housing, community or opportunities for children and young adults with special needs.

Gerry holds a BS in Industrial Economics from Union College and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
