Sagewind Capital LLC Acquires By Light Professional IT Services

Arlington, VA and New York, NY (May 15, 2017) – Sagewind Capital LLC (“Sagewind”), a New York-based private equity firm announced today the acquisition of a majority stake in By Light Professional IT Services (“By Light”) a transaction that occurred earlier in May of this year. By Light is a leading provider of IT, cloud, cyber, and infrastructure solutions to the US Federal Government. The management team of By Light will retain a significant equity ownership in the Company. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

By Light provides various IT services, and custom tailored software/hardware, cloud and cyber solutions to major USG Agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Defense Information Systems Agency, and Department of Defense.
